The project aimed at the redevelopment, conservation and seismic restoration of the 13th century church.
The monastery church is on the list of historical monuments of Mureș County with the code MS-II-m-A-15936, the historical monuments of Sighișoara being on World Heritage list (UNESCO)
The structural retrofitting solution recommended by the technical expertise involves:

• Introduction of steel frames with viscous dampers on the transversal direction of the building that provide additional damping on this direction in order to improve the resistance and deformability of the structural system;
• Execution of a rigid diaphragm above the level of the domes;
• Completion of the bracing system of the roof wooden structure;
• Installation of steel rods in vertical and horizontal drilled holes to improve the behavior of the unconfined masonry structure;
• Introduction of bracing systems in the roof plan.
